Here at Mir Arts LLC, our goal is simple.

Create, Share & Collaborate.

We aspire to provide opportunities and create a space where artists and creative thinkers can join together. Through this platform, we hope to create unique, collaborative artwork and facilitate conversations and skill sharing within the community.

Workshops

As part of fulfilling our mission statement, Mir Arts LLC has been in collaboration with A Journey from Junk LLC to provide art-related workshops and classes for its community, located in Old Ellicott City. Through this collaboration, we strive to help local business, exchange creative ideas, and give back to the community.

Biography & CV

Mireille Lechliter is a practicing fine artist based in Ellicott City, MD. During her studies at the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA), she was classically trained in the art of drawing, woodworking, painting and ceramics. Her personal practice often reflects her interest in family and heritage as a Polish-American artist, formulating her own version of genre art. Her choice of media ranges from graphite drawings on wood panel to watercolor on paper and wood sculptures. Her most recent body of work, a collection of portraits and surreal drawings, showed her grandfather's ongoing battle with Parkinson's disease, intertwined with her own experiences, juxtaposing old and new memories into one narrative. Working with concepts such as consciousness, emotion and memory, she strives to visualize the intangible, creating a reality which we can all experience.
